Negotiations- Day 2 is complete. We are happy to share that we entered into agreements with the employer on Policy 104 Payment Authorization effects, Zoom and Freshservice effects and the and the 2019-2020 Contract Re-Opener.
Effects of Policy 104 Payment Authorization
While using the form is mandatory, we were able to negotiate that the gathering of the financial information on the form is not a mandatory requirement—staff can contact their field directors or the accounting department to collect the data. We were able to also able to secure that we are protected if there are any allegations of misconduct arising from the collection of personal information.
Effects of Zoom and Freshservice
We were able to negotiate that employees can request a personalized, on-demand training for these new programs. We were also able to secure that employees may still call or utilize the Computer Support IS email to report any technical difficulties.
2019-2020 Contract Re-Opener
We are pleased to report that we secured a 3.0% on-schedule raise effective June 1, 2019. We were also able to secure a one-time bonus payment of $2,000.00 for each bargaining unit member.
